Catherine Price’s written and multimedia work has appeared in publications including The Best American Science Writing, The New York Times, O, the Oprah Magazine, The The Washington Post Magazine, Popular Science, Mother Jones, Salon, and Slate, among others. A contributing editor at Popular Science and co-author of The Big Sur Bakery Cookbook, she’s also a recipient of the Middlebury Fellowship in Environmental Reporting, and a winner of the Gobind Behari Lal prize for science writing. She’s currently traveling the world with her husband (adventures so far include an Iceland hostel downwind of the volcano, a homestay with Mongolian nomads, and two weeks spent milking French dairy goats), and is blogging about the experience at pretirement.net.
